The Tile Cleaning Process
After approving your estimate and making a small deposit, we can schedule your appointment based on your preference. We arrive on-time, ready to go!
With water in the pool, the process first requires shutting down all pump equipment and a small portion of water to be drained below the tile. Being very mindful of water drainage & conservation, we don't usually drain more than 8 inches below the tile.
Utilizing compressed air, we gently apply a soft, eco-friendly cleaning media, designed for cleaning pool tile and removing calcium. We utilize baking soda, glass bead, or Kieserite blasting media-depending on tile type and calcium severity.
After the blasting process we meticulously clean the surrounding areas and vacuum the pool, essentially eliminating all the blasting residual and calcium debris. Additionally, we apply a tile sealant to help prevent future build-up.
